Rules and Guidelines ver. 1.2: In terms actual official rules set in stone, they will be left open to what the first three seats of the swordsmen decide on otherwise they are left open for a reason. To be in the Swordsmen you are considered to be above and better than the rest and you will be generally treated as such. However because of this you will also be expected to act and represent your Swordsmen brothers and sisters in a positive manner. Now that's not to say you'll be kept on a leash and not allowed to do as you please but the general idea is to not embarrass us as a whole.
Leadership: Although the First seat is the leader of the Seven Swordsmen, he or she is by no means THE only form of leadership with in the Seven Swordsmen. Each seated member has a say in all dealings and going ons of the group. However it is the first three seats that have final say over major decisions. (Under Construction)
Politics: Due to corruption and power hungry aspirations.. The Seven Swordsmen have never and will never be completely loyal or take direct orders from a Mizukage. We are not his/her swordsmen nor their Anbu. Our goal and our mission is to protect and defend Kirigakure and if we deem that a Mizukage is harmful to Kirigakure then it is our duty to get rid of them.
And on that note, politics have no place within the Seven Swordsmen. We are an individual group, independent from the affairs of the village and its politics unless it is agreed that a political problem is a danger to the village as a whole and should be addressed.
Because of this there are rules in order to keep us clear and to help avoid situations where we could get dragged into a political mess. The main one is this:
No active, semi-active, or acting Mizukage is allowed within the first three seats of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist.
This is to avoid giving the Mizukage power over us and to separate us from the political side of Kirigakure. If a high seated member runs or is in line for Mizukage, they are expected to step down to concentrate on their political life.
Internal Affairs: All things related to the SSM Stay in the Seven Swordsmen. Our business is OUR business. There is no need for all of Kirigakure to be aware of our going ons and bringing it out in public is NOT to be tolerated.
Added for ver 1.1: Just to re-clarify and make it easier to understand. We are awarded our freedoms and individual group status for being the best of the best in terms of loyalty and combat ability. The Mizukage cannot directly tell us what to do, however if he/she has a concern/problem with what we are doing or how we are doing it, it will be brought up to the leadership and handled ourselves.
(Added in ver 1.2) Returning Members: In the case of a previous Swordsmen/woman returning, a special test will be agreed upon and given by the first three seats. Even if the skill of the returning remember is not in question his/her dedication, intents, and loyalties should, no matter the reason for his/her departure.
