This is a question that I've actually seen a lot surprisingly. So to make things clearer and lessen confusion I will state some things here, obvious or no. Firstly:
Qualifications: Becoming a member of the Seven Swordsmen is NOT guaranteed nor will it be easy. To be even considered a member of the Seven Swordsmen there are a few qualifications. Firstly you must be a Master Swords(wo)man. There are no exceptions. Not above average, or incredibly skilled, but a master of the sword. Secondly, people seeking to become a member of the Seven Swordsmen are required to have superb Suiton Ninjutsu ability considering many of the tactics we can/will employ involve a form of suiton. (i.e. Kirigakure no Jutsu.) Thirdly and lastly.. You must be a loyal member of Kirigakure. Defectors and traitors will not be tolerated and will be hunted down. Villages who harbor ex-swordsmen/women will be required to give up said defector or risk war with Kirigakure.
Starting Out: For aspiring members of the Seven Swordsmen, this is what you will do if you are not already aware:
Create and submit your initial submission: This will be the the start of your application. Information is located here. Once your submission is acknowledged and approved you will go to the next step.
The Written Test: Here we will get a good understanding of your character. In the future this may not be necessary, but until a new recruitment system is put into place the written test will be kept.
The Fighting Test: This is the most important part, and the main screening process for new swordsmen/women. Either here or in one of the fighting zones your skill will be tested and observed to see if you are worthy to take one of the empty seats. If there is no empty seat, you will face off against the 7th or lowest available seat. (Subject to change soon.)
As for expectations all that will be said is this. I do not expect or care if members do not like each other or even if they are outright hostile to each other, you will keep it professional and will be expected to work together in a crisis situation. Any problems should be either talked, or fought out in a spar.
